The Agoraphobic Traveller | Google, New York City

With RPS Events we designed for Google, The Agoraphobic Traveller was an immersive exhibition that challenged traditional perceptions of travel, inviting visitors to experience the world through storytelling, sensory design and thoughtfully curated environments.

"The Agoraphobic Traveller" was a viral art and photography project by Jacqui Kenny, who used Google Street View to travel the world virtually while managing severe agoraphobia. Backed by Google, she hosted a solo exhibition of these virtual landscape screenshots in New York City

Working as part of the creative team, I contributed to the spatial design, styling and installation of the exhibition, transforming the concept into a compelling physical experience. Through carefully layered materials, custom-built elements and considered visual storytelling, the exhibition encouraged curiosity, reflection and meaningful engagement while showcasing Google's innovative approach to connecting people with places.
