The Botanical Hideaway
The Botanical Hideaway is a whimsical getaway just outside of Saugerties that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The home has been thoughtfully designed with gorgeous wall paper, colored accent walls, and cozy touches that make it feel like home. Located just outside of Saugerties, you’ll be close to some of the best eateries, breweries and hiking that the Hudson Valley has to offer!
A Note from the Designer, Kate Aubrey:
I wanted to create a guest experience that incorporated the Hudson Valley’s seasons and the colors that those seasons represent. Summer hydrangeas, Autumnal hues, the fresh green of spring and moody winter blues for a year round whimsical upstate escape, featuring the artwork of local Hudson Valley illustrator and surface designer Megan Galante.

I've never been afraid of color and have always been so perplexed as to why many people are? Color is the spice of life and something to be celebrated. If you're not sure how to use color , start small. Hero a favorite artwork on a wall and pull color from that. Anyone who knows me knows I love a throw pillow. Try a texture or color you have admired but not used in your home before and see how you like it before painting a wall with the shade. I encourage playful experimentation. Life is too short not to embrace all that color can do for your life.
